This is especially true when it comes to chicken thighs. So many people are unsure whether or not chicken thigh is pink when cooked.

Chicken thighs that remain pink after cooking may very well be OK to eat just as long as the internal temperature meets that recommended by the U.S. Department of Agriculture.

The only way to be sure is to use a food thermometer.

So, if your chicken thighs are still pink after cooking, don’t panic! Use a food thermometer to check their internal temperature.

As long as they reach the USDA’s recommended minimum internal temperature of 165 degrees Fahrenheit, they’re safe to eat.

To probe your chicken thighs you should insert the thermometer into the thickest part of the meat.

You can also test to see the chicken is cooked if the juices run clear when cut and pressed.

The easiest way to cook chicken thighs is by baking them in the oven. Preheat your oven to 200C and cook chicken thighs for 25 minutes.

You can also pan fry chicken thighs over medium heat for about eight minutes per side.

Remember to rest your chicken before cutting into it so all the juices don’t run out!

Why does chicken look pink after cooking?
